Featured in National Geographic, the Euchee Butterfly Farm is operated by Jane Breckinridge and her husband. The farm has been in her family for five generations as the Euchee Butterfly Farm and is fortunate to have one of the last true prairie remnants in Tulsa County, a 12-acre natural grassland ecosystem that has never been plowed and remains in its original condition. Jane grows and sells butterflies around the world. Her firm, Natives Raising Natives, employs members of the Creek Tribe.
She will talk about the challenged and dwindling butterfly populations due to decreased food sources and how we can help. There will be items for sale which attract and feed butterflies.
