Current Level: MEDIUM – COVID Update July 7, 2022

To the members and friends of our All Souls Congregation,

Unfortunately, we have learned in the two-plus years of pandemic life that COVID does not die with the heat.  Our infection numbers in Tulsa County (27/100K) have slowly crept back up to the high range (25-49/100K), and while our hospitalizations (203) have bumped up from very low to low (200-399), our COVID Task Force has determined that the numbers warrant shifting our church COVID Risk category to MEDIUM.

This means a few changes on Sunday mornings in effort to keep everyone healthy and safe.

  1. Each person will need to sign in with an email address and/or phone number when attending church gatherings.
  2. Please let the church know if you test positive for COVID within 3 days of attending an event at church so that we may notify those who were also there of the possible exposure. To contact the church please contact the church office, 918-743-2363. If no answer, please leave a message & contact information.
  3. Masking is required for all large events such as church services.
  4. Children and youth activities will also require masking, temperature checks and 3-foot social distancing.
  5. Small groups have more leeway to determine when they choose to mask and distance.
We recommend these decisions take into account our responsibilities to our more vulnerable members, to ensure they do not feel excluded by relaxed safety measures or peer pressure.

Stay safe and healthy. Hopefully this will be a short-lived blip on the COVID radar.

The 10 am and 11:30 am services are open to in person. Adult programs and children’s programs, K-12, are in person, but all will need to wear a mask. Children will do a temperature check prior to attending ASK programs and snacks will be outside. Please join our community in person or via  Zoom links on the Worship page for your favorite service or watch online on our website, Facebook, or Roku.

All Souls recommends that parents consult their primary care provider before bringing children under three years old to indoor church events. We would love for you to join us for intergenerational worship and faith engagement events outdoors and online.

Liability Waiver:
While All Souls Unitarian Church has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, by coming to the church you assume the risk that you and/or your child(ren) may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and you, on your own and on behalf of your children, release, discharge, and hold harmless the church, its employees, agents, and representatives, of any and all claims related to COVID-19.
