The COVID Task Force was created and appointed by the Board of Trustees in early 2020 to help guide the church through the pandemic with the creation and recommendation of health related-policies and the ongoing assessment of disease-related risks. In 2022-2023 the COVID Task Force oversaw the relaxing of restrictions as the healthcare crisis subsided and vaccinations became more readily available to all who sought them. We were able to restructure and simplify our COVID guidelines to allow the church to fully open to in-person gatherings while keeping an eye on state and local hospitalizations keeping our congregants informed and as safe as reasonably possible. With a hopeful and promising outlook, we determined to suspend our meetings until October 2023, barring any precipitous uptick in COVID numbers.
