POP - All Souls Unitarian Church

What is POP?
POP (Parents of Preschoolers) is an easy video-based, at-home curriculum grounded in Unitarian Universalism and designed for parents and caregivers of children ages 2-5.

By engaging with POP videos, parents and caregivers will learn to understand their child’s spiritual development, to build rituals that support this development, and to see themselves as spiritual teachers!

How does POP work?
Each month, three short videos and worksheets will be shared with registered families. Enjoy working through the month’s videos and worksheet content at your own pace.

At the end of the month, we’ll gather on Zoom with All Souls Religious Educator Shannon Boston, and fellow-parents and caregivers to check in and share what you have learned and experienced.

This Month
In April, POP is exploring family stories! These videos and worksheets have been designed to:

Help you understand why children tell (and beg for) the stories they do
Invite you to engage in practices that will enhance the stories you already tell
Give you just a moment of contemplation in the midst of a busy Spring season

Each video includes a chalice lighting and an opportunity to take a few moments to breathe before engaging with the video prompts. Feel free to keep your own chalice or candle nearby so you can join in a moment of contemplation.
