All Souls Acknowledges Ties to 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre In Service of Promise and Repair

A promotional graphic for a service titled "Service of Promise & Repair." The background is a muted taupe color with a distressed, textured appearance, suggesting aged paper or a wall. The top portion includes the date (June 1, 2025), time, and location of the service. Large, stylized text displays the title "SERVICE OF PROMISE & REPAIR." Below, smaller text explains that the service is an acknowledgement of connections to the 1921 Race Massacre, and a ritual of forgiveness and repair.  A white candle sits on a small, dark wooden stand.  A decorative arrangement of small stones, dried flowers (pink, yellow, red), and a large, orange-toned rose are centered on a light gray, bowl-like structure, which sits on what appears to be a flat surface. The graphic also includes a logo, “ALL SOULS,” in the bottom right corner with stylized floral elements.
On Sunday, June 1, All Souls Unitarian Church invites you to a powerful worship experience centered on the themes of promise, repair, and recommitment. Led by Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, this […]
