You’re invited to explore life’s big questions with us at The Point Humanist Hour on Sundays at 11:30 am. With a focus on humanism and the natural world, this service provides inspiring music, meditative moments, and thoughtful messages for those looking for something beyond traditional faith. Whether you believe in something or nothing at all, know that you belong here and are loved.

On Easter Sunday, we invite our Youth to help create a magical —if chaotic—egg-hunting experience for our younger kids. Egg hunts take place between services, with our youngest searching in the Memorial Garden, and older kids on the Front Lawn.

Our Thanksgiving Festival Service is a joyful affair held the Sunday before Thanksgiving. All are invited to bring a fresh fruit or vegetable to share on our chancel. The food we collect is distributed by our Community Resource Bank (CRB).

On Coming of Age Sunday, our Coming of Age class deliver the credos they have developed throughout the year and completed while on their pilgrimage to Boston. Credos may be presented during one or both services, depending on the size of the class.

Held in April, Youth Sunday offers one of our most popular services of the year. Our Youth work with our ministers to develop and present every aspect of the service, from readings to music, and our high school seniors deliver the sermon.

Flower Communion is a beautiful tradition begun in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s. Bring a flower from home to share in our communal bouquet, and take a flower with you when you go. 

We invite everyone going back to school to join us for a shared blessing, and to witness the commissioning of our teachers and classroom volunteers. The Back to School Blessing is generally held during the 10 am service, the Sunday before Tulsa Public Schools begin classes for the fall.

Our modern Tenebrae service features a silent, progressive extinguishing of candles. Out of our willingness to descend into the darkness of sorrow, suffering and loss, symbolized by Good Friday, emerges our capacity for rebirth and renewal into the light symbolized by Easter. This service provides a space where all are invited to deliberately enter the darkness, which is part of our lives individually and collectively.

Held around mid-December, the Holiday Memorial Chapel offers the opportunity to remember our members and friends who have died in the previous year, and to recognize our personal losses, publicly or in silence.

We hold three distinct services each Christmas Eve, at 4:30 pm, 6 pm, and 7:30 pm. Our building is darkened, lit mostly by flickering candlelight. Between services, we share cookies and wassail in Emerson Hall, surrounded by greenery and festive decorations.
