Join us for this month's Justice Council Jam, an afternoon of education, discussion, and action featuring John Waldron, a respected educator, advocate, and state representative known for his commitment to justice and public education policy.
This month, we'll focus on The Politics of Education, exploring the ways in which policy decisions shape the future of our schools, students, and communities. How do political decisions impact classrooms? What role does advocacy play in securing equitable education? These are just some of the questions we’ll address in this engaging session.
What to Expect:
- Lunch & Fellowship – Enjoy a meal together as we connect with others who are passionate about justice and education.
- Keynote Presentation: The Politics of Education – John Waldron will share insights from his career as both an educator and a policymaker, discussing the challenges and opportunities in Oklahoma’s education system and beyond.
- Small Group Discussions – After the presentation, participate in guided conversations about All Souls' Social Justice groups and their impact on the community. Learn how you can get involved in advocacy efforts for education, racial justice, climate action, LGBTQ+ rights, refugee support, and more.
How to Attend:
- Registration is required. Secure your spot by March 1, at allsouls.me/justicejam.
- Childcare is available for Justice Jam registrants through 3:30 PM, but you must register by March 1.
