At All Souls Unitarian Church, we believe in the power of community, inclusivity, and personal growth. This fall, we are excited to launch our new initiative, Conscious Inclusion, designed to help us expand our understanding, heal from past traumas, and create a more inclusive and compassionate community.
Conscious Inclusion is a transformative program aimed at fostering deeper connections with ourselves and our own cultures and across racial and cultural lines, so that we may move forward as allies with a shared understanding. Starting in September 2024 and continuing through April 2025, we will be offering a series of sessions focused on identity, healing, and collective growth.
“We need to do the work to be anti-racist. No matter how far along the path we think we are, we have further to go. This is an opportunity for sincere reflection and growth, across racial boundaries. By learning about ourselves and each other, we can build a community that truly embodies inclusivity and love,” says Shannon Boston, Executive Director of Religious Exploration.
Join us in drawing the circle larger and creating a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Click Here to get involved, or email Shannon Boston at [email protected].
Please email [email protected] with which day (Sunday or Wednesday), presentation (in-person or Zoom) and group (BIPOC or white) you would like to attend.
There will be a $30 materials fee for this course. No one will be excluded for inability to pay. Donations are welcome to help offset the cost for others.
We invite all members of our congregation to participate in this transformative journey. Whether you are just beginning to explore these topics or have been engaged in this work for years, there is a place for you in Conscious Inclusion.
