Celebrate Christmas Eve at All Souls

All Souls has 3 unique candlelight services on Christmas Eve. One at 4:30PM, 6PM, and 7:30PM.

A Special Invitation This Christmas Eve

Join us at All Souls Unitarian Church for a heartwarming Christmas Eve. Whether you’re gathering with family, connecting with friends, or attending on your own, our doors are open to everyone for a night filled with joy, warmth, and community. In-person and online services are available, so you can celebrate from wherever you are.

Between services, enjoy cookies and wassail in Emerson Hall—and if you’d like, bring cookies to share! Valet parking will be available from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM to make your evening stress-free. We look forward to celebrating with you this holiday season


Three Unique Services

4:30 pm – Interactive, Child-Focused Candlelight Service:

  • A joyful and engaging service designed especially for children and families. Experience the wonder of Christmas through stories, songs, and a shared candlelight moment. Families will also receive interactive service bags to enhance the experience. ASL interpretation available. Childcare provided.

6 pm – Traditional Candlelight Service:

  • A classic candlelight service featuring beloved carols, holiday readings, and a timeless message of peace and hope. This cherished tradition, rooted in the legacy of Rev. John Wolf, has been celebrated by generations. Braille orders of service available. Childcare provided.

7:30 pm – Jazz/Gospel Candlelight Service:

  • Experience a soulful, music-filled celebration featuring Majestè Pearson, daughter of Bishop Carlton Pearson, known for her powerful and moving voice, and Tommy Poole, renowned jazz musician. The All Souls Choirs and Youth Choir Alumni will join together to perform the beloved hymn “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming.” Let the sounds of jazz, gospel, and holiday music fill your heart and spirit. No childcare available.
