Root, Rage & Realign: Women of All Souls Spring Retreat

Saturday, March 9, 2024 | 9:30 am – 4:30 pm | All Souls Unitarian Church

Join us for a day of powerful connection, facilitated by Shannon Boston and Kate Starr. Together with guest leaders, we’ll engage in meaningful activities that allow us to:

  • Root into the Earth as it awakens to the spring, and into an affirming community
  • Rage and express through creative release
  • Realign inner hopes, dreams, values, and expectations with the everyday realities and choices we all make

This retreat is open to all who identify as women—bring a friend! Cost is $30; registration is required by March 6, 2024. Scholarships are available for All Souls members. Visit allsouls.me/realign to register.

Celebrate Heritage Sunday

Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 24, as we observe Heritage Sunday, commemorating the founding of All Souls. This special day begins with one service for all at 10:30 am, where we’ll recognize the role Unitarian Universalism has played in shaping our nation’s narrative. After the service, join us in Emerson Hall for a reception where you can enjoy refreshments and fellowship. We’ll also have a building tour (registration required) and a merchandise table. Click here for more details.


Get Ready for March Madness with All Souls

March Madness Bracket Pools:

How do you fill out your bracket? Are you a stats genius? Do you draw form a hat? Is it based on your favorite mascot? Well, no matter how you fill it out, you can enter the All Souls NCAA tournament bracket playoff. Sign up to enter as many brackets as you like for both the Men’s and Women’s tournaments. The winner will receiver 20% of the pooled funds, the runner up receives 5%, and the remaining 75% helps support the church!

Sign up by March 20, and be sure to have your bracket(s) finished and turned in by tip-off on Thursday, March 21. $10 per entry.Register Your Bracket

Chili Cook-Off, Dessert Auction, March Madness Watch Party

Join us for a community fundraiser where there is something for everyone. Sign up to enter your best chili in a friendly competition. Come to choose your favorite chili and purchase a delicious dessert (supporting PIE). Bring your friends to watch the first Friday games of the NCAA Basketball Tournaments on Friday, March 22, from 6-9pm. Beverages, including beer and wine, available separately.

Women’s Book Club with Rev. Cathey Edwards | March 6

  • Vagina Obscura: An Anatomical Voyage by Rachel Gross is a powerful testament to how the landscape of human knowledge can be rewritten to better serve everyone. Open to all who identify as women.

Day Center Insights | March 6

  • How does the Day Center work to make homelessness in Tulsa rare and temporary? Come learn from Day Center volunteer coordinator, Co Edwards, about how they help through housing, employment, food support, healthcare, and more. This event is sponsored by All Souls Community Resource Bank.

Healing Our Religious Wounds | March 6-20

  • This three-part series empowers church leaders and members to identify and address religious wounds through active group participation. Together, we’ll develop essential tools for healing.

Shawl Ministry | March 13-27 

Come learn to knit—all skill levels welcome! The Shawl Ministry is a group of fiber artists who make a spiritual practice of creating shawls to give to people in our church community who are in need of comfort and solace. Members and friends infuse each shawl with positive intentions, prayers, hope, love, and healing. Completed shawls are blessed and sent along the way. They also make baby hats, blankets, booties and more.

  • Come prepared to get your hands dirty as we beautify our grounds and gardens! As always, you are welcome to volunteer in the garden at different time/day that works for you.

Unitarian Universalist Parents (UUPS) Touchstones

  • Join parents and caregivers to discuss current family topics/issues, ask questions, and find support. Open to parents and caregivers of all aged children, and parents-to-be.

Women of All Souls Soulful Sisterhood Series with Celeste McNeal Wood

  • Experience the Insights and Wisdom of Women in cOMmUNITY. Our time together is inspired by the lunar cycle and weaves in astrological tidbits, ancient goddess wisdom, breath work, movement, symbolic/collective altar building and sacred conversation. All who identify as women are welcome. This class is donation-based.
