Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar
Senior Minister
Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar is a minister, artist and activist who lived for two years in Kyoto, Japan and spent three years traveling around the world on a mountain bike. For the past 24 years he has been the Senior Minister at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa. He and his wife, Anitra, have a son and a daughter. He holds degrees from Tulane University and Harvard Divinity School and honorary doctorates from Philips Theological School and Meadville Lombard Seminary. He is currently serving as the President of the Board of the Greenwood Cultural Center and has also served as the President of the board of Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry.
Rev. Randy Lewis
Assistant Minister
Rev. Randy Lewis, a dedicated community minister, chaplain, entrepreneur, and social justice advocate, has been a part of All Souls Unitarian Church since 2008, serving as Student Minister from 2009 to 2014. Following several impactful years as a community minister in North Carolina, where he founded a non-profit, served on multiple boards, and led successful outreach programs, he returned to All Souls in May 2022 as Assistant Minister, overseeing the Pastoral Care program and serving as the staff liaison for various justice teams. Randy holds an undergraduate degree in Organizational Leadership, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Divinity, embodying his commitment to effective leadership and the fusion of business acumen with spiritual guidance.
Rev. Dr. Nicole Kirk
Programs Minister
Nicole Kirk is the Program Minister at All Souls and Chair of Unitarian Universalist History at Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago. At All Souls, Nicole combines her experience as a UU minister and educator to support the congregation’s education programs and justice work. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Nicole earned her Master of Divinity at Vanderbilt and her PhD at Princeton Theological Seminary in American Religious History. She lives in Tulsa with her husband, Frederic. Their sons Kirk and Alex live in Ann Arbor and Brooklyn. Nicole is the author of Wanamaker’s Temple: The Business of Religion in an Iconic Department.
Rev. Gerald Davis
Affiliate Minister
Rev. Gerald Davis serves as the Minister of Church of the Restoration in Tulsa, and is an Affiliate Minister with All Souls. Ordained in 1976, Rev. Davis has served as Associate Director of Tulsa Metropolitan Ministries, and as Director of Corrections Ministry and Jail Chaplain for Tulsa. Davis has said that "activism is a part of ministry," a belief he embodies in his work in the Tulsa community and beyond.
