Do you find yourself counting down the days until the NCAA basketball tournament starts? You aren’t the only one! Start thinking about your bracket now, because All Souls will be hosting our very own bracket pools for both women’s and men’s tournaments.
Celebrate the first Friday of the tournament (March 22, 2024) by joining your friends at All Souls with a chili cook-off and dessert auction! Friends, food, sweets, friendly competition, and games playing on multiple screens—what a great way to obsess over the biggest tournament in sports! Join us Friday, March 22 from 6-9 pm.
You don’t need to complete a bracket to attend this event! Children are encouraged to join their families for the fun (no childcare will be available). Beverages, including beer and wine, will be available separately.
The Men of All Souls will be hosting the chili cook-off during the event! Think your recipe is the best? Sign up at the link below to find out! There will also be a dessert auction with sweets from Elote, Glacier Chocolates, Wanda J’s Next Generation Restaurant, Honey B’s Bakery, and more! Proceeds from this event will support the All Souls operating fund, with the dessert auction supporting PIE (Partners in Education).
This kicks off our Heritage Sunday weekend. Join us for our Heritage Sunday celebration service on Sunday, March 24, 2024. We’ll be holding one service that day at 10:30 am. Learn more here.
How do you fill out your bracket? Are you a stats genius? Do you draw from a hat? Is it based on your favorite mascot? Well, no matter how you fill it out, you can enter the All Souls NCAA tournament bracket playoff. Sign up to enter as many brackets as you like for both the Men’s and Women’s tournaments. The winner will receive 20% of the pooled funds, the runner up receives 5%, and the remaining 75% helps support the church!
Sign up by March 20, and be sure to have your bracket(s) finished and turned in by tip-off on Thursday, March 21. $10 per entry.
Are you a sports curmudgeon who forgets to care when there is a “big game?” We’ll we’ve got something for you, too! Join the March Meh-ness competition! After the Men’s championship game on April 8, how long can you go before you find out who won the title? How will you do it? Can you avoid the news and the office breakroom? Should you wear earbuds to cancel out the noise?
The first 24 hours will be the hardest, but can you make it until the next Sunday? The longest surviving curmudgeon, or all who are still surviving by 10 am on Sunday, April 14, will be announced during the service and will win an “I don’t care about sports-ball” certificate!
You have until April 7, 2024 to enter March Meh-ness.
