Meet Dr. Randall Hooper, Our New Director of Music

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Randall Hooper, DMA, as the Director of Music at All Souls Unitarian Church. Dr. Hooper brings decades of experience in choral music, having led university, civic, and church choirs across the country. Most recently, he served as Director of Choirs at East Texas A&M University and Artistic Director of the Plano Civic Chorus.

Dr. Hooper has conducted ensembles at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and internationally in Germany, Austria, England, and France. He is also a published composer, arranger, and scholar whose work includes research on composer Anthony Burgess and recordings of contemporary choral music

Originally from Texas, Dr. Hooper and his wife Elaine have two daughters, Abigale and Claire—and two beloved dogs, Blue and Charlotte.
