As the summer winds down, we are thrilled to gather once again for Homecoming Sunday on September 8, 2024. This year’s theme, “Love Brings Us Home,” reflects the warmth and connection we feel as we return to our beloved community. Homecoming marks the beginning of our new church year, and we have a day full of joy, reflection, and celebration planned for everyone.

We’ll start the day with two services—our Unitarian Universalist service at 10 am and The Point Humanist Hour at 11:30 am (ASL interpretation available in-person and online). Then, starting at 11 am, join us in Emerson Hall and on the lawn for activities and food, including a hot dog lunch with vegan and vegetarian options, games, and fun for all ages. Whether you’re reconnecting with old friends or meeting new ones, Homecoming is a time to celebrate the love that brings us all together.

As we launch into this new year, we invite you to participate fully in the life of our community. We look forward to seeing you on Homecoming Sunday and throughout the year as we continue to grow, connect, and make a difference together.

Homecoming Sunday is September 8, 2024. Food, music and fun. Two services 10AM & 11:30AM. "Love Brings Us Home" is this year's theme.

At All Souls Unitarian Church, we believe in the power of community, inclusivity, and personal growth. This fall, we are excited to launch our new initiative, Conscious Inclusion, designed to help us expand our understanding, heal from past traumas, and create a more inclusive and compassionate community.

What is Conscious Inclusion?

Conscious Inclusion is a transformative program aimed at fostering deeper connections with ourselves and our own cultures and across racial and cultural lines, so that we may move forward as allies with a shared understanding. Starting in September 2024 and continuing through April 2025, we will be offering a series of sessions focused on identity, healing, and collective growth.

Why Join Conscious Inclusion?

“We need to do the work to be anti-racist. No matter how far along the path we think we are, we have further to go. This is an opportunity for sincere reflection and growth, across racial boundaries. By learning about ourselves and each other, we can build a community that truly embodies inclusivity and love,” says Shannon Boston, Executive Director of Religious Exploration.
