BeyondBelief Fall 2016Hello!

I’m pleased to present to you the first BeyondBelief print publication created by All Souls members, staff, and community. BeyondBelief explores All Souls’ themes through articles and interviews. We hope you enjoy reading from a diverse collection of voices and learning more about our work in our local, national, and global community. is the companion website to this print edition. Online, we are building content covering justice work, controversial topics, postmodern families, and news about All Souls. If you haven’t read them already, we invite you to read the four-part series called History in the Making: Four Perspectives of Becoming One. Bishop Carlton Pearson, Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, and members Cassandra Austin and Jane Newman write about their experiences of New Dimensions and All Souls coming together more than eight years ago. In both the print and online platforms a multitude of writers and artists share their talents, expressions, interviews, and opinions. BeyondBelief has been produced with direction and input from ministers, staff, and the All Souls Marketing and Editorial Committee, a diverse group of All Souls members who volunteer to help shape the publication. Leading this group is myself, All Souls Communications Manager with Communications Specialist Sheba Sanders. Together, we have created a publication we are proud to launch. We are even more excited to continually improve this publication and Here’s where you come in. We are looking for talented writers, graphic designers, illustrators, and photographers to join BeyondBelief as a contributor or to serve on the committee.
