We ask that each family help Children's and Youth Programs (CYP) succeed by volunteering for a minimum of 10 hours a year. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways. You could:
- Guide a Religious Exploration class with children or youth
- Volunteer as a substitute Guide
- Assist or lead a Spiritual Expressions in Creativity class
- Assist with morning check in
- Assist with class preparation, gathering supplies in advance of Sunday morning
- Shop for and prepare snack
- Return and organize supplies
- Help with planning and execution of festivities
- Lead or assist with social justice projects
- And much more!

SICK? PLEASE STAY HOME.
Please keep sick children at home! If your child has a contagious condition or has experienced fever, vomiting, or diarrhea in the past 24 hours, for the health and welfare of your child as well as others, please keep your child at home.
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER.
Children should come dressed for the weather and dressed for fun. They will go outside for some portion of the morning unless the weather is severe, so bring labeled coats and sweaters when the weather warrants. Some of our projects may get messy, so please save your finest clothes for Festival Sundays.
PARENT OR GUARDIAN ON SITE.
A parent or assigned guardian must stay on the church premises while their child is in programming. Emergency exceptions can be made with the agreement of a CRE Board Member if the child is over the age of five.
SIGN IN/SIGN OUT.
As a safety measure, we require that each student is checked in electronically upon arrival, and out upon leaving. Your child will also be given a stick-on nametag upon arrival.
Smart phones, iPods, handheld games, and other electronic devices disrupt our activities and isolate students. Out of respect for the community building we are trying to do, please leave all devices at home or with a parent. Our staff will collect devices that are brought into classrooms and will return them at the end of the program day.
WE ARE A PEANUT-FREE ZONE!
For the safety of children in our program with a very dangerous peanut allergy, All Souls Children’s Areas are peanut-free. Snacks brought into class must not contain peanuts and not have been manufactured where peanuts are processed. Please wash your child’s hands and face and check their clothing if they have peanut butter to eat before coming to church. If your child has any food allergies, be sure to note them on the Medical Release Form and let your child’s teacher know.
