Children’s & Youth Programs

The mission of the All Souls Children’s and Youth Programs (CYP) is to foster the lifelong exploration of religious thought and values through a program that promotes spiritual development by means of free inquiry, mutual respect and responsible behavior.

To foster this development, CYP manages multiple programs at All Souls including Children’s Religious Exploration (CRE), Coming of Age, Youth Groups, and more.

Sundays offer a cooperative church school program that supports families by nurturing hearts, minds, and souls. There is no fee associated with our CYP, but we do expect our parents to pledge to the church’s operating fund and to participate in the programs in a variety of ways throughout the year.

We have great programming for a full 3 hours almost every Sunday throughout the year. Your children and youth are welcome to participate in all of it. In addition to our well-developed curricula, there will be at least one Sunday a month in which students will be able to participate in meaningful Social Action projects.

We Are a Welcoming Community

We strive to welcome everyone regardless of race, culture, economic status, gender identity or sexual orientation. As an extension of this welcoming attitude, we call our children and youth by the name they prefer and use whatever gender pronouns they are most comfortable with.

Our goal is to know and appreciate each individual person in our program

Our Peace Practices

Love is the spirit of this church, and Service is its law.

This is our great covenant:

To dwell together in peace,
to seek the truth in love,
and to help one another.

To make it possible, we have 3 simple rules for the children:

  1. Do no harm in word or deed.
  2. Respect yourself and all others.
  3. Everyone gets to play.
