Thank you for visiting us.
As you enter our front door, you will be greeted by one of our members. Inside, the front hallway leads directly into the foyer where you’ll find a Welcome Table, and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Please stop by to sign in and receive a visitor’s name tag. You can also get additional information about current activities and events and find opportunities to meet with one of our ministers after the service.
If you arrive early and would like to look around the building, please feel free! If you prefer a guided tour, just ask at the Welcome Table and we’ll be delighted to show you around. In the front office you can find literature about Unitarian Universalism and our church. To get to know us better, you can also check out our weekly newsletter, Parish Notes, as well as our monthly journal, Simple Gifts.
The Traditional and Contemporary Services are held in the sanctuary, (on the far left side of the foyer) and the Humanist Service is held in Emerson Hall, (on the right side of the foyer). Complimentary coffee and tea, our weekly book shop, a fair trade kiosk, and friendly conversation can be found in the lounge off Emerson Hall.
If you need any help finding anything else, such as the coat room, restroom, or religious education classrooms, please don’t hesitate to ask. We want you to feel at home!
We’re proud of our Adult Education classes that provide history, information, and networking opportunities within the All Souls congregation and the larger faith community. We suggest that you begin with All Souls 101 to familiarize yourself with our church. Next, we suggest you sign up for Roots, a three-part series of classes taught by one of our ministers. It covers the history, principles, and traditions of All Souls and of the Unitarian Universalist movement. Old and new members are encouraged to take a Roots class.
Various social events are held throughout the year, created especially to help new members get to know each other, long-standing members, and the church staff.
Children are always welcome at All Souls! Religious Exploration programming is offered during Sunday morning services and childcare is available for most Adult Programs classes.
