Rev. Dr. John B. Wolf
Rev. Dr. John B. Wolf came to All Souls in 1960 and served as Senior Minister until his retirement in 1995 and since has been Minister Emeritus.
He received his pre-medical Bachelor of Science degree from Wesleyan University in 1949, his Bachelor of Divinity degree from the Federated Theological Faculty of the University of Chicago in 1952, and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological School in 1976.
He is a Navy veteran of World War II and was commissioned into the Navy Reserves Chaplain Corps during Korea.
Rev. Wolf was a leader of the Civil Rights movement in Tulsa and co-founder of the Oklahoma Civil Liberties Union, the Governor’s Human Rights Commission, and a member of the National Board of Planned Parenthood.
He is the author of two books of sermons, Our American Heritage published in 1964, and The Gift of Doubt published in 1983.
On October 5, 2015 Rev. Wolf was inducted into the Tulsa Hall of Fame by the Tulsa Historical Society and Museum.
He currently resides in Tulsa with his wife, Barbara.
